DelVal Women's Lacrosse Dominates Mount St. Vincent, Improves To 4-1

Box Score DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Graeleigh Lackey tied her own Delaware Valley University single-game record with six goals as the Aggies notched a 16-4, non-conference victory over visiting College of Mount Saint Vincent.

The win improved DelVal, in just its second year as an intercollegiate sport, to 4-1 on the season. The Dolphins fell to 0-5.

Lackey, a sophomore, matched her mark from the season-opening win over Rosemont College just three weeks ago. She also added an assist for a seven-point performance.

Freshman Taylor Spleen and Lackey scored two goals in a three-minute span to give the Aggies an early 2-0 lead. Mount Saint Vincent cut that in half before DelVal responded with seven straight tallies for a 9-1 advantage. Lackey and Taylor Teliszewski had two goals apiece in the spurt. The Dolphins added the final goal of the half to trail by seven at the break.

The Aggies opened the second stanza with three goals in the first five minutes to bump the advantage to 12-2. Mount Saint Vincent recorded two of the next three goals before DelVal ended the game with tallies from Samantha Collyer, Lackey and Teliszewski.

The Aggies held advantage of 38-14 in shots and 18-4 in draw controls. Teliszewski finished with four goals and two assists for six points while Spleen had a goal and three helpers for four points. Spleen also recorded seven draw controls and three ground balls. Collyer and Kara Imes each had a goal and two assists for three points while Janee' Rhone, Krystal Serdinsky, Lydia Spakosky and Amanda Wood had a goal apiece. Spakosky added five ground balls. Amanda Dietrich stopped six shots in net.

Adelina Lajqi paced the Dolphins with three goals while Alicia Forgione had one tally. Taylor Latorre picked up five ground balls. Joyce Pagulia recorded 13 saves.

DelVal returns to action on Tuesday, March 22 when it travels to Rutgers-Camden for a non-conference game.
