DELVAL MEN'S SOCCER DROPS 1-0 DECISION TO KEYSTONE

Box Score DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley College men's soccer team had a three-game unbeaten streak snapped on Wednesday night as it dropped a hard-fought, 1-0 decision to visiting Keystone College.

The Aggiesfell to 2-1-1 on the season while the Giants improved their record to 3-2.

Delaware Valley had their chances in the back and forth match, the first one coming with 7:30 remaining in the first half when Peter Tantillo and Adam Roland attacked the offensive zone on a 2-on-1 break.  Tantillo fed Roland at the top of the box and he ripped a shot low from 15 yards out that Keystone goalkeeper Anthony Cutillo was able to hold onto.

Seven minutes and 48 seconds into the second half, Keystone's Djavan Guy lobbed a pass into the box for Eddy Enowbi. Enowbi was able to chip it over the keeper and into the back of the net for what proved to be the game-winning tally for the Giants.

Delaware Valley fought back and, with five minutes remaining in the game, Steve Mannato got behind the Keystone defense on the left side of the field. He dribbled into the box and shot for the far post, but Cutillo was able to get a foot on the ball to keep the game 1-0.

Delaware Valley held a slim 13-12 margin in shots with Justin Mannato taking six of them and Tantillo getting off three.  Cutillo and Aggie keeper Austin Brotman made seven saves in the contest. For Brotman, he made a number of great saves including a breakaway attempt from Enowbi late in the second half.
