Box Score DOYLESTOWN (PA) – King's College took the rubber match of the three-game, Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom series with host Delaware Valley University as the Monarchs cruised to a 25-5 victory.
King's improved to 7-6 overall and 2-1 in league action while the Aggies fell to 6-4 and 1-2.
The Monarchs scored two or more runs in five of the nine innings, including eight-run outburst in the first and fifth frames. They finished the afternoon with 27 hits.
Chris Rebar and Bruce Breithaupt had five hits apiece in the game. Rebar was 5-for-6 with two doubles, four runs scored and five runs batted in. Breithaupt also had six at-bats in the game and he was home run shy of the cycle. He scored three runs and knocked in two. Dan Hartson and Kyle Lupas notched four hits each and the two combined for five runs scored and four RBIs while Kyle Friebolin and Christian Pack drove in three runs apiece. Billy Neill gave up no runs and three hits while striking out eight over six innings for the win.

Wayne Kinsey as well as a Monarch error. Six different Aggie had hits in the game.
Steve Smith started and took the loss.
Hunter Mease pitched two-plus innings of scoreless relief.
DelVal will travel to Centenary College for a non-conference game on Wednesday, March 29.
