Albright built an early lead and held off a late push from Delaware Valley to secure a 7–6 win.
Albright struck first in the opening inning, scoring twice on a sacrifice fly from Lewman and an RBI single by Knight. They added another run in the second on Golden's RBI groundout, then extended the lead to 4–0 in the third with an aggressive baserunning sequence that resulted in Lewman stealing home.
Delaware Valley got on the board in the third with a sacrifice fly from Pat Higgins, but Albright answered again in the fourth when Avino drove in a run to make it 5–1. Delaware Valley began to chip away, with Nate Ludwick's RBI double in the fourth cutting the deficit to three.
The Aggies made their strongest push in the fifth. Braedyn Kormanic delivered a two-run single, bringing Delaware Valley within one at 5–4. Albright responded in the sixth with a key RBI groundout from Knight to extend the lead back to two.
In the seventh, Gavin Migliori homered to make it a one-run game again at 6–5. Albright added insurance in the ninth on Strecker's RBI single, which proved important as Delaware Valley threatened in the bottom half. Kormanic lifted a sacrifice fly to bring home a run, but Albright closed it out with the tying run left on base.
Kormanic led Delaware Valley with three RBIs, while Migliori added two hits and a home run. For Albright, Knight drove in two runs, and Eckstein recorded three hits as part of an 11-hit effort.
