Baseball Goes Undefeated in Final Series

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - The Aggies finished their season today against King's college, ending the day undefeated over the two ties.

Game 1: Delaware Valley 23 - King's 1

Delaware Valley broke open a close game with relentless offense, pulling away for a 23–1 victory over King's (Pa.).

King's struck first in the opening inning on an RBI single from Wanamaker, but Delaware Valley answered immediately. Nathan Fisher delivered an RBI single in the bottom half to tie the game at 1–1.

The Aggies took control in the third inning, erupting for five runs on six hits. RBI knocks from Braedyn Kormanic, Matteo Viola, Andrew Cullinan, and Eli Scott highlighted the frame as Delaware Valley built a 6–1 lead. The offense continued in the fourth, where Gavin Migliori launched a solo home run and Kormanic added another RBI double to extend the margin to 11–1.

Delaware Valley kept adding on, scoring twice in the fifth before a decisive 10-run sixth inning put the game out of reach. The inning featured contributions throughout the lineup, including a two-run double from Ben Boyer and a two-run double from Migliori as the Aggies pushed the lead to 23–1.

Kormanic led the offensive effort with four hits and three RBIs, while Fisher added three hits and three RBIs. Migliori drove in four runs, and multiple players contributed in a balanced 20-hit performance.

On the mound, Patrick Flynn earned the win with a complete-game effort, allowing just one run on four hits while striking out eight.

King's managed only four hits and was held scoreless after the first inning as Delaware Valley controlled the game in all phases.

Game 2: Delaware Valley 7 - King's 7

King's and Delaware Valley traded momentum throughout the game, ultimately finishing in a 7–7 tie.

King's came out aggressively in the first inning, scoring five runs behind a series of RBI singles and capitalizing on defensive miscues to take an early 5–0 lead. Delaware Valley responded quickly, getting on the board in the bottom of the first on an RBI single from Nathan Fisher.

The Aggies continued to chip away in the second inning, scoring three runs to cut the deficit to 5–4. A passed ball, an error, and a sacrifice fly from Braedyn Kormanic all contributed to the rally. Delaware Valley completed the comeback in the fourth when Kormanic delivered an RBI single to tie the game at 5–5.

Delaware Valley took its first lead in the fifth on an RBI single from Gavin Migliori, but King's answered in the seventh with a sacrifice fly from Pentasuglio to even the score at 6–6. The Monarchs briefly regained the lead in the eighth on an RBI double from Timinski.

The Aggies responded once again in the bottom half of the inning, as Fisher tripled down the left field line to bring home Liam Martin and tie the game at 7–7.

Both teams were unable to push across a run late, as the game ended deadlocked. Delaware Valley finished with 14 hits, led by Martin's four-hit performance, while Fisher and Kormanic each drove in two runs.

King's totaled nine hits and was paced by Pentasuglio, who contributed two RBIs, and Timinski, who added a key extra-base hit.

The Aggies improve on last season's record, ending the year on 16 wins, 22 losses, and 1 tie.
