DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley University women's lacrosse team finished its 2016 home schedule with a 17-5 loss to Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom opponent FDU-Florham on Tuesday.
The Aggies dropped to 5-8 overall and 0-5 in the conference. The Devils upped their record to 10-6 and stayed unbeaten in the MAC Freedom at 5-0.
After a one-hour delay due to lightning in the area, FDU-Florham recorded the first 15 goals of the contest. The teams endured another short weather delay with just under 21 minutes left in the game. When the squads returned to the turf, sophomore

Krystal Serdinsky. Trailing 16-1, DelVal rallied to score four of the final five goals. Sophomore

Taylor Spleen notched the other two markers. Imes also registered an assist.
Brianna Capobianco led the Devils with eight goals. Frances Maggio and Joelle Manganella totaled four points apiece and Laura Cannillo produced three points. Megan Nemeth started in goal and stopped one shot. Erin Gill made two saves and Katherine Posada played the final 8:32.
Freshman
Amanda Dietrich stopped eight shots for the Aggies.
Delaware Valley wraps up the 2016 campaign at conference foe Manhattanville College on Saturday, April 30 (1:00 p.m.).
