Box Score ONEONTA (NY) – The Delaware Valley University women's soccer team
suffered its second straight 3-0 loss on Sunday, this time to Hartwick College. The game wrapped up the Aggies' participation in the Mayor's Cup Tournament. The Hawks secured the tournament title with the victory.
The Hawks stayed unbeaten and are now 3-0 on the year while DelVal drops to 1-2. Junior

Somer Meadath were named to the all-tournament team.
Hartwick's first goal came late in the opening half. Freshman Rachel Weir found a loose ball in the box and kicked a turnaround shot into the goal with 7:22 on the clock. The Hawks added two insurance goals in the second period. Junior Allyson Daniels converted a penalty kick with 15:18 to go. Finally, with 9:24 remaining, freshman Kiley Richardson took a throw-in for Hartwick. Her throw found sophomore Sierra Bentley, who sent a pass back to Richardson. Richardson's shot sneaked in on the left side post.
The Aggies again struggled to find an offensive attack and were outshot by a 19-4 margin. Junior Megan McGillycuddy made two saves for her second shutout in three starts. Senior
Brenna Coll played the first half for DelVal and stopped four shots. Freshman
Emily Schukraft totaled four saves in the second half.
The Aggies return to Doylestown for their home opener on Friday, September 11 against Cabrini College (7:00 p.m.).
