Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 DALLAS (PA) – Misericordia University showed why it's ranked as high as 13^th in various Division III polls, as the Cougars swept a home Freedom Conference twinbill over Delaware Valley University, 18-2 and 6-1.
 
Misericordia improved to 17-4 overall and 7-2 in the Freedom while the Aggies fell to 6-10 and 0-5. The two will complete their three-game series with a single game in Doylestown on Monday. Delaware Valley will first travel to FDU-Florham on Sunday for a pair of conference contests.
 
In the first game, Delaware Valley pulled to within one, 3-2, after scoring two runs in the top of the fourth. Those tallies came on a RBI double from Kyle Wenger and a run-scoring single from Corey White.
 
However, the Cougars responded with seven runs off seven hits in the bottom of the fourth and added eight more on five knocks in the sixth. Seven players had two or more hits while Kyle Lindsay and Al Reda finished with three RBIs apiece. Kyle Rogalski picked up the win in relief.
 
White was 2-for-3 with the one RBI while Wenger was 1-for-3 with a run scored and a RBI. Jake Richard took the loss on the mound.
 
The Aggies jumped out to a 1-0, first inning lead in the nightcap as Wenger had a two-out double and scored on White's RBI single to right. However, those were the two lone hits of the game as Ryan Dorosh went the distance for Misericordia, struck out four and improved to 4-0.
 
Misericordia answered with two in its half of the first inning, including a two-out, run-scoring single from D.J. Navocynski. It stayed 2-1 until the fifth when the Cougars put four on the board off three hits, three walks and one hit batsmen.
 
Trevor Dalton took the loss for the Aggies.
