Box Score GLENSIDE (PA) –Host Arcadia University scored the first nine goals of the non-conference game, en route to a 16-5 victory over Delaware Valley College.
The Knights improved to 5-1 on the season while the Aggies, in their first year as a varsity program, fell to 1-3.
Arcadia jumped out to the 9-0 lead in the first 14 minutes of the contest. Delaware Valley got on the board with 12:06 left in the half as
Graeleigh Lackey scored off an assist from
Nicolette Angelella. The Knights then got the next four tallies to take a 13-1 advantage into the break.
The Aggies outscored Arcadia, 4-3, in the second half. Lackey picked up her second goal just 2:07 into the stanza while Angelella scored on a free position shot with 20:09 remaining. Lackey struck again, this time on a free position opportunity with 15:49 to go. Angelella wrapped up the Aggies' scoring with 5:26 to go.
Nicole Hutson and Sam Sidoriak notched three goals apiece for the Knights. Dawn Faranetta scored two goals and assisted on four others in the win.
