Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 FORT PIERCE (FL) – After two days off, Delaware Valley returned to action and split a doubleheader with Bethany College on the team's Spring Break trip to Florida. The Aggies took the opener, 5-3, before the Bison earned an 8-0 triumph in the nightcap.
 
Delaware Valley moved its record to 4-3 with three games remaining on its trip while Bethany's mark moved to 4-2.
 
The Bison jumped out to a 2-0, first-inning lead in the opener before the Aggies answered with five runs on five hits and one error in the second. Kevin Crill, Nate Cummings, Austin Bregman and Kyle Wenger had RBI singles in the stanza.
 
Bethany made it a 5-3 game in the fourth and then had two on with one out in the top of the sixth. Ben Lipppincott came out of the bullpen and got pinch-hitter Tyler Stephenson to ground into a double play to end the threat. Casey Paholski then pitched a perfect seventh inning for his second save of the season.
 
Jake Richard improved to 2-0 as he went five-plus innings and allowed three runs and eight hits while striking out four. Crill and Wenger were each 2-for-3 with an RBI.
 
The second game saw Zac Edmiston pitch a complete-game shutout for the Bison as he permitted just four hits and struck out six. Bethany got all the offense it needed with three runs in the first. They added one in the third and four in the sixth. Jeremy Hefele went five innings and took the loss for Delaware Valley.
