Box Score GWYNEDD VALLEY (PA) -- The Delaware Valley College men's soccer team went to overtime for a fourth time this season and it was host Gwynedd-Mercy College that came out top with a 2-1 decision.

The Aggies fell to 2-5-2 with the defeat while the Griffins improved their mark to 2-7 overall.

Gwynedd-Mercy opened the scoring just seven minutes into the contest when Eric Smith sent a cross into the box that Chris Black converted on for an early 1-0 advantage. Just less than five minutes later, Delaware Valley responded as
Joey Feeg scored his first of the year on a header from 18 yards out that was played into the box on an Aggie throw in.

Each team got off six shots in the second half with both keepers having to make three saves to keep the game knotted at 1-1 and send it into overtime.

In the extra session, Delaware Valley had the first chance when
Steve Mannato got a shot off that was stopped by keeper Matt Chilcote and went out of bounds for a corner kick. The Aggies got the corner into the box and
Doug Moore got a shot off that went just over the crossbar.

With 2:42 left in the first overtime, Smith got a shot on goal that Delaware Valley keeper
Austin Brotman was able to stop. The rebound came right to Rich Mychack, who found the back of the net and the 2-1 Gwynedd-Mercy victory.
