HUNTINGDON (PA) – Kelsey Zook scored on a penalty stroke in the 22nd minute and Delaware Valley College made it stand for a 1-0, non-conference victory at host Juniata College.

The Aggies (2-3) were awarded the stroke at the 21:59 mark and Zook came through by beating Janelle Howard for her fourth goal of the season. It was one of 10 shots for Delaware Valley in the first half, compared to six by the Eagles (3-3).

The second half was a different story in terms of shots as Juniata held a 19-1 advantage. The Eagles also had nine corners in the final 35 minutes, but they could not get the game-tying goals. Junior Sandra Edwards had nine saves and earned her first collegiate shutout for Delaware Valley.
