NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced its major conference awards naming field hockey players
Brooke Golbeski,
Kenzie Boyd and
Jillian Collins to All-Conference Teams.
Golbeski, the Aggies' starting goalkeeper, earned a spot on the All-MAC First Team. The graduate student appeared and started in all 17 games for the Aggies this season tallying 115 saves. Her save percentage of 0.816 ranked third overall in the conference. Golbeski recorded five games in double-digit saves including one game with a season-high 25 saves, earning her that week's MAC Defensive Player of the Week honor.
Boyd earns her second career All-MAC Freedom Second Team designation. The senior midfielder started in all 17 games this season playing a crucial role on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Boyd stopped several key corner plays this season blocking several shots from opponents while also tallying five goals and seven assists.
Collins joins Boyd on the All-MAC Freedom Second Team marking her first career all-conference honor. Collins was a standout on the defense this season for the Aggies starting in all 17 games. Her three defensive saves ranked sixth in the conference.
