DREW REMAINS UNBEATEN WITH 2-0 WIN OVER DELVAL

DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Sam Nepveux and Matthew Gragnano scored goals for Drew University as the undefeated and regionally-ranked Rangers posted a 2-0 victory over host Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

Drew, ranked fifth in the latest National Soccer Coaches of America Association (NSCAA) Division III Mid-Atlantic Region poll, upped its record to 6-0. The Aggies fell to 1-4.

Nepveux hit the net for the first time this season as he took a feed from Ian Elfers and beat Delaware Valley goalkeeper DJ Meisinger with 15:42 left in the first half. The scored stayed that way for 40-plus minutes when Gragnano scored his second goal of the year off an assist from Tommy Tolve.

Drew held advantages of 13-6 in shots and 8-0 in corners. Michael Reyes finished with three saves and the shutout for the Rangers while Meisinger was also credited with three stops.
