DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Juniata College, ranked 17th in Division III, scored five times in the second half to break open a 1-0 contest and down host Delaware Valley College, 6-0.
The Eagles improved their overall record to 4-2 while the loss dropped the Aggies to 1-4 on the year.
Kara Buda scored the lone goal on the first half with 12:49 remaining and it proved to be the game-winner. Juniata then needed just 53 seconds to hit the scoreboard in the second stanza on a Caroline Phillips tallied. Shauna Deschenese and Kim Amrod added goals before Buda tallied her second goal of the game. Morgan Shovlin ended the scoring with 2:31 off Amrod's second assist of the day.
Juniata held advantages of 34-1 in shots and 15-0 in corners.
Hollis Hancock stopped 18 shots for the Aggies.
