OWNINGS MILLS (MD) – Jorden Haney scored the lone goal of the game midway through the first half as host Stevenson University posted a 1-0 triumph over Delaware Valley College in the opening round of the 2010 Black Eyed Susan Tournament.

The Aggies, who opened their season with a 3-0 blanking of Albright College on Wednesday evening, will take on College of Notre Dame (Md) on Sunday afternoon.

Haney dribbled into the box and beat Delaware Valley goalkeeper Hollis Hancock from close range with 18:44 remaining in the opening stanza. The Mustangs made the lead stand as Kara Zimmerman stopped seven Aggie shots in the contest

Delaware Valley held a 12-8 advantage in shots and a 7-4 edge in corners. Hancock finished with three saves.
