READING (PA) – Alvernia University scored three times in a five-minute span in the first half, en route to a 6-0 triumph over visiting Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

Domenic Montone put the Crusaders (9-6-2) on the board just 10:37 into the contest. Kyle Martyn followed with back-to-back tallies at the 12:40 and 15:56 marks. Alvernia added three goals in the second half as Karl Hogg, Eric Franks and Morgan Davidheiser found the net.

Alvernia outshot the Aggies (6-11-1), 19-5, and held a 7-2 advantage in corners. D.J. Meisinger made two saves in the loss.
