Mindy Miniconzi had two goals and one assist to lead Delaware Valley College to a 4-1 triumph over Kenyon College in the last day of action at the Black Eyed Susan Tournament held at Stevenson University.
The Aggies (3-0) scored three times off of penalty corners with Miniconzi keying the opportunities. The junior defender scored her first collegiate goal off a feed from
Bethany Pavlik with 10:59 remaining in the first half. That tally tied the game at 1-1 and it remained that way into the intermission.
It was all Delaware Valley in the second half beginning with Pavlik's fifth goal of the year off a Minconzi feed on a corner with 22:26 to go. Fifteen minutes later, Miniconzi struck again on a corner, this time taking the pass from
Rony Jacober.
Marissa Di Miero ended the scoring with an unassisted tally with 4:01 remaining.
The Aggies held advantages of 14-6 in shots and 10-4 in corners.
Hollis Hancock was credited with two saves and the victory.
