DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Delaware Valley University baseball team kicks off its 2025 season on Saturday, February 22nd, with a doubleheader road matchup against Wilson College. This change is due to freezing temperatures expected for the season opener at Gwynedd Mercy. Last season against Wilson, the Aggies won 10-9 in walk-off fashion thanks to a single into the outfield by Reese Hackett driving in the winning run.
Last season, DelVal finished 8th in the conference, just behind King's College, with a 13-24 overall record and a 4-17 mark in MAC Freedom play. Misericordia claimed the MAC Freedom Championship after defeating Arcadia 2-1 in the final.
Under the leadership of head coach Kyle Fleming, the Aggies aim to make a playoff push, relying on a mix of experience and fresh talent, including three senior pitchers and 11 first-year players. Watch a preseason interview with Coach Fleming here.
Following their season opener at Wilson College, DelVal will take on Penn State Brandywine and Ursinus before heading to Florida for their spring break slate, where they will compete in six games. The Aggies return home to open conference play against DeSales University on Sunday, March 16th.
