DOYLESTOWN (Pa.) – The Delaware Valley University volleyball team announced its 24-game slate for the 2023 campaign that features four tri-matches, nine home matches, seven Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) opponents and 17 different non-league games.

Head coach Rachel Menin was named the first full-time coach in program history after last season when the Aggies won 12 games and had a winning record for the first time since 2013. They finished 2-6 in league play to tie for sixth place – two games out of a playoff spot.

The 2023 season will open at home on Saturday, September 2 with a hosted tri-match against Penn State – York and Penn College. The action will start at 11 a.m. in side James Work Gymnasium. After a match at Keystone, DelVal will play in Wilkes University's tri-match along with Penn State – Altoona on Sept. 9.

The Aggies return home on Tuesday, Sept. 12 for the first night game on campus at 7 p.m. against Cairn University. The next week begins MAC Freedom play, and DelVal opens against the reigning league champions, Stevens Institute of Technology.

After facing the Ducks, DelVal will play six of its next seven games on the road over a span of 18 days. The stretch includes a tri match at Penn State Abington along with two conference games away from home at FDU-Florham and King's College. The lone home game during the 18-day span is against MAC Freedom foe Misericordia on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.

The final eight-game stretch is a balance of four home and four away contests including a pair of home MAC Freedom matches against Lebanon Valley on Wednesday, Oct. 18 and DeSales on Tuesday, Oct. 24. The regular season finale is at 2022 MAC Freedom runner-up Arcadia at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2.
