Women’s Volleyball Falls to Lebanon Valley on Senior Night

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Delaware Valley women's volleyball team fell in three straight sets at home to Lebanon Valley on Wednesday night: 25-8, 25-13, 25-11. Prior to the first serve, the Aggies honored their two graduating seniors, Mia Zadlo and Kai Logan.

The Flying Dutchmen jumped out to a dominant lead in the first set while the Aggies struggled to find a consistent rhythm. Lebanon Valley held DelVal to just eight points and posted a 0.161 hitting percentage while limiting the Aggies to a -0.237 clip.

The Aggies saw improvement in the second set, recording five total kills while tightening the gap to just six twice early on. The Flying Dutchmen maintained control with 12 kills on a 0.207 hitting percentage.

DelVal came out with renewed energy in the final set and traded early points thanks to kills from both Cassandra Gloster and Patricia Schwab. Lebanon Valley responded with a series of runs to pull ahead decisively.

Gloster led the attack with four kills while Zadlo tallied the lone service ace of the game. Gloster and Logan teamed up at the net for a team-high two block assists apiece. Alyssa Fink and Nia Walker both finished the night with double-digit digs recording 10 each.

The Aggies are back in action for their final contest of the season next Wednesday, Nov. 5 when they host Stevens at 7 p.m.
