Owen Paces Men's Cross Country At MAC Championships

ANNVILLE (Pa.) – The Delaware Valley University men's cross country team concluded its 2022 season with a 15th place finish at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship race hosted by Lebanon Valley College on Saturday morning.

The Aggies finished with 402 team points with seven runners and an average individual finish of 30:57. Messiah won the team title with 40 points and had the first and second place finishers. The average individual finish for the Falcons was 25:34.

Carter Owen was the top finisher for DelVal with a time of 28:34.5 to place 87th out of 149 competitors. Justin Kaufman was close behind with his mark of 28:42.9 and first-year Matthew Skikus came in at 28:57.9. Fellow rookie Brance Fronheiser crossed the line at 33:50.6 and senior Logan Cooper rounded out the top-5 Aggies with a time of 34:35.9.

Justin Rosenberger and Kevin Smith also competed for the Green and Gold and came in at 38:01.8 and 42:42.7, respectively.
