WILKES BARRE (Pa.)--- The Delaware Valley men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Wilkes University to take place in the inaugural Blue and Gold Invitational on Friday.
On the women's side Molly Laird had the best finish for the Aggies in 33rd place, finishing with a time of 30:47.07. Sarah Mullen (32:30.70), Catherine Couse (32:43.70) and Samantha McCurry (32:44.00) finished 40th, 41st and 42nd respectively.
Carter Owen turned in the best time for the Aggies with a 30:08.20 to give him a 15th place finish out of 64 runners. Justin Kaufman finished close behind in 18th at 30:38.80 and Matthew Skikus turned in a 31:39.29 for a 27th place finish. Brance Fronheiser rounded things out for DelVal with a 35:48.80 in 46th.
The Aggies will gear up for the MAC championships hosted by Lebanon Valley on Saturday, October 29th.
