ALLENTOWN (PA) -- Three members of the Delaware Valley University women's golf team were in action on Thursday afternoon at the Muhlenberg Invitational. The Aggies did not factor into the team scoring as they were without the required number of competitors.
The match took place at the Lehigh Country Club in Allentown, PA. The course plays to a par-70 at 5,835 yards. In all, five teams and 22 student-athletes competed.Â
Rookie
Rachel Brahler finished third overall and just two strokes off the lead with a plus-18, 88. Aine Filler of the host school, Muhlenberg finished first with a plus-16 and Emily McGarrigle took second with a plus-17.
DelVal's
Camryn Shaw finished 13th with a 130 (+60), a 19 stroke improvement from her last outing, and
Kayla Bracken came in 15th with a score of 135 (+65), a 29 stroke improvement.
Muhlenberg and Ursinus finished tied in team scoring with 383, but it was Ursinus that earned the first-place title in the fifth player tiebreaker.Â
DelVal will hit the links again on Monday, April 16 at the Knights Invitational hosted by Arcadia University at 12 p.m.
