WHITE HAVEN (PA) -- The Delaware Valley University women's golf team opened its 2018-19 season by competing at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Fall Preview, which was held at the Mountain Laurel Golf Club. The Aggies did not have enough golfers to score in the team standings.

2018 MAC Rookie of the Year Rachel Brahler kicked off her sophomore campaign by posting a round of 88. That was good enough for seventh place in the field of 42 competitors. Senior Kayla Bracken also finished the 18 holes on Sunday and carded a 152 to place 38th.

Alvernia University took top honors at the preview with a score of 343, 15 strokes better than runner-up Eastern University. Manhattanville College's Nicole Krause was the individual champion as she shot an 82.

DelVal will be right back in action on Tuesday, October 9 when it takes part in the Alvernia University Invitational at the Ledgerock Golf Club.
