ST. DAVIDS (PA) -- Delaware Valley University sophomore
Rachel Brahler finished in third place to highlight the Aggies' showing at the Eastern University Fall Invitational on Monday. The team did not have enough golfers to qualify in the team standings.
Brahler, who was all-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) performer and the conference's Rookie of the Year, a season ago, hit the par-70, 5,692-yard course at the St. Davids Golf Club. She had three pars on the front nine, en route to a 43. Brahler continued her strong play by registering another par and carding a 46 over the final nine holes for a round of 89. Only the Strevenson University tandem of Laura Rentz (79) and Amanda Perez (81) had better scores than Brahler in the field of 31 competitors.
Senior
Kayla Bracken was the remaining DelVal competitor and she finished the day with a 152.
The Aggies will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule next Monday, October 29 at the Arcadia University Invitational.
