Aggie Volleyball Drops Two Matches To End Weekend At Haverford Invitational

HAVERFORD (PA) – The Delaware Valley University volleyball team wrapped up the weekend at the Haverford College Invitational with a pair of 3-0 losses to Arcadia University and the host Fords.

The Aggies dropped to 0-5 on the season. The set scores against Arcadia were 25-12, 25-12 and 25-18. Senior Nicole Daigneault posted 12 assists and eight digs in the match while freshman Kate Woolsey led the team with seven kills. Sophomore Kayla Bracken recorded six kills, two assists, two service aces and four digs. Junior Taylor Klecan registered seven digs.

Haverford defeated DelVal by set scores of 25-6, 25-12 and 25-15. Klecan produced four kills and five digs while Daigneault and Woolsey totaled six digs apiece.

Bracken was named to the invitational's All-Tournament Team.

Delaware Valley returns to Doylestown for its home opener versus Summit University on Thursday, September 8 (7:00 p.m.).
