DeSales Defeats Aggie Volleyball, 3-0 In MAC Freedom Match

DOYLESTOWN (PA) – DeSales University swept the Delaware Valley University volleyball team, 3-0 in a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom match on Tuesday.

The Aggies fell to 2-8 overall and 0-2 in the conference while the Bulldogs upped their record to 9-2 with a 2-0 MAC Freedom mark.

DeSales won by set scores of 25-2, 25-11 and 25-9. Gabby Savite' led the Bulldogs with nine kills and added six digs. Taylor Antoniewicz totaled seven kills and Morghan Shoemaker had six. Lisa Wallitsch tallied 20 assists. Natalie Gray picked up 13 digs and Tanesia Rehrig registered five service aces.

For DelVal, junior Taylor Klecan had nine digs and three kills. Seniors Nicole Daigneault and Lilly Gilbert posted eight and six digs respectively. Daigneault also recorded four assists. Sophomore Kayla Bracken and freshman Kate Woolsey produced two kills apiece.

The Aggies take a break from conference play when they host Yeshiva University on Tuesday, September 27 (8:00 p.m.).
