Box Score DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Eastern University showed why it's the 13^th-ranked team in Division III as the Eagles swept a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom match from host Delaware Valley University. Set scores were 25-7, 25-6 and 25-7.
 
Eastern, which is the eight-time defending conference champion, improved to 24-5 overall and a perfect 7-0 in league action. The Aggies slipped to 6-15 and 0-7.
 
The Eagles had big runs in each of the three sets including a 14-1 spurt in the second set and 15 straight points to open the third. As a team they finished with 35 kills and just three errors on 46 attacks for a .696 hitting percentage. Alicia Weigel had 11 kills while Morgan Shemonski added eight kills. Morgan Kline had 27 assists and eight service aces on the night.
 
For DelVal, Nicole Daigneault and Kate Woolsey notched two kills apiece. Daigneault also had five assist, two service aces and two digs. Lilly Gilbert added two digs as well.
 
The Aggies will wrap up their 2016 campaign on Thursday, October 27 with a non-conference match at Penn State Abington.
