DelVal Volleyball Falls At Wilkes, 3-0

Box Score WILKES-BARRE (PA) – The Delaware Valley University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Wilkes University in the Aggies' final Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom road match of the season. Set scores were 25-10, 25-18 and 25-13.

The victory improved the Lady Colonels to 10-16 overall and 2-4 in league action. DelVal fell to 4-14 and 0-16.

Wilkes had a 38-12 advantage in kills and dished out nine of the matches' 12 service aces. Jamey Mikovich led the way with 11 kills while Grace Boyle added seven kills and eight digs. Alexis Morgan had 27 assists on the evening.

For the Aggies, Kayla Bracken notched five kills, two digs and a solo block. Kate Woolsey added three kills, two aces and seven digs and Taylor Klecan contributed two kills and seven digs. Nicole Daigneault handed out 11 assists.

DelVal will have three of its final four matches at home, beginning with a non-conference tilt against Rosemont College on Thursday, October 20 (7 p.m.).
