DelVal Volleyball Suffers 3-0 Loss At Manahttanville

Box Score PURCHASE (NY) – Manhattanville College had a big hitting night, en route to a 3-0 victory over visiting Delaware Valley University in a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom match. Set scores were 25-6, 25-11 and 25-9.

The Valiants improved to 11-6 overall and 3-2 in the conference while the Aggies dropped to 4-13 and 0-5.

Manhattanville notched 38 kills and just two errors in 71 attacks for a .507 hitting percentage (DelVal had an .043 mark). Leading the way was Laura LiVolsi with 12 kills and no errors in 16 attempts. She also added 11 digs. Asia Reid produced 10 kills and Megan Quinabo had 33 assists.

For the Aggies, Kate Woolsey had six kills and seven digs. Kayla Bracken added five kills and Taylor Klecan finished with three kills and eight digs. Nicole Daigneault distributed 13 assists.

DelVal will travel to Wilkes University for a MAC-Freedom contest on Tuesday, October 18 (7 p.m.).
