Box Score 2 WILLIAMSPORT (PA) – The Delaware Valley University volleyball team took part in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Crossover Tournament on Saturday and dropped 3-0 decisions to host Lycoming College and Arcadia University.
The MAC Crossover Tournament takes place at four different institutions and has two MAC Freedom teams take on two squads from the MAC Commonwealth. The two setbacks dropped DelVal to 3-11 on the season.
In the opening match against Lycoming (10-8), the Aggies fell by set scores of 25-16, 25-13 and 25-16. They managed just 17 kills in the match with seven coming from
Kayla Bracken.
Taylor Klecan and
Kate Woolsey had five kills apiece and combined for 13 digs.
Allison Wilson added six digs and
Nicole Daigneault dished out 15 assists.
DelVal dropped set scores of 25-12, 25-12 and 25-22 to Arcadia (8-10). The Aggies had 23 kills and just 11 errors in 82 attacks (.146 hitting percentage). Woolsey tallied seven kills, 13 digs and three service aces. Klecan had six kills and 11 digs while Bracken finished with four kills. Daigneault's numbers included 16 assists and eight digs.
DelVal will host FDU-Florham for a MAC Freedom match on Tuesday, October 4 (7 p.m.).
