Box Score DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley University volleyball team began a three-game home stand with a 3-0 loss to Rutgers-Camden on Thursday.
The Aggies' record sank to 1-12 on the year while the Scarlet Raptors went to 7-8. The set scores were 25-8, 25-5 and 25-9.
Rutgers-Camden jumped out to a 7-2 lead in the first set and controlled the rest of the way. The Scarlet Raptors tallied the first nine points in set two, including three straight service aces by junior Caitlin Marchlowitz to open the frame. Sophomore Courtnee Wilkerson recorded three consecutive kills to put her team up 15-3. Rutgers-Camden registered 13 of the last 15 to claim the second set.
DelVal looked to gain some momentum, securing leads of 7-4 and 8-6 in the final game. However, the Scarlet Raptors recovered to score the next 17 points to go up 23-8 and close out the match from there.
Senior Olivia Rowland and Wilkerson led Rutgers-Camden with nine kills apiece. Senior Brooke Hassan totaled 26 assists and five service aces. Sophomore Erin Thompson added 11 digs.

Nicole Daigneault compiled five assists. Freshmen
Kourtney Campbell and
Kayla Bracken chipped in with eight and five digs respectively.
DelVal is home again on Monday, October 12 against Marywood University (7:00 p.m.).
