DelVal Volleyball Suffers 3-0 Loss At DeSales

CENTER VALLEY (PA) – The Delaware Valley University volleyball team lost its Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom match at DeSales University, 3-0 on Tuesday.

The set scores were 25-10, 25-9 and 25-7. The Aggies dropped to 1-11 overall and 0-4 in the conference. The Bulldogs have a 12-8 record with a 3-1 MAC Freedom mark.

Sophomore Taylor Klecan led DelVal with six kills. Junior Nicole Daigneault totaled eight assists. Klecan and freshman Kayla Bracken registered nine and eight digs respectively. Freshman Kourtney Campbell, Bracken and Daigneault each recorded a service ace.

For DeSales, sophomore Logan Wieziolowski had 11 kills. Junior Lisa Wallitsch amassed 34 assists and five digs. Freshman Natalie Gray and freshman Gabby Savite added 10 and nine digs respectively. Senior Laura Greenberg and Savite each produced three service aces. The Bulldogs never trailed in any of the three sets.

The Aggies begin a three-match home stretch against Rutgers-Camden on Thursday, October 8 (7:00 p.m.).
