Penn State Berks Sweeps Aggie Volleyball, 3-0

READING (PA) – Penn State Berks swept the Delaware Valley University volleyball team, 3-0 in a non-conference match on Tuesday.

The Aggies fell to 2-18 on the season while the Nittany Lions improved to 17-10. The set scores were 25-14, 25-11 and 25-14.

Sophomore Jenny Von Holt led Penn State Berks with 11 kills followed by senior Cassidy Schultz and freshman Addie Parsons with eight apiece. They each also recorded six digs and Schultz added five service aces. Freshman Corinne Watson totaled 29 assists. Sophomore Megan DeAbreu registered 14 digs and senior Heleanna Davison contributed with five blocks.

Freshman Kayla Bracken had five kills and nine digs for DelVal. Sophomore Taylor Klecan produced 11 digs and junior Nicole Daigneault amassed eight assists and six digs. Junior Lilly Gilbert chipped in with two service aces.

The Aggies end the season at home against conference foe King's College on Wednesday, October 28 (7:00 p.m.).
