TELFORD (PA) – The Delaware Valley College women's golf team posted its first win in program history as the Aggies defeated visiting Wilkes University, 427-441, at the Indian Valley Country Club on Saturday.

Delaware Valley, in its inaugural season of women's golf, played a match on its home course for the first time as well. Rebecca Alpuche posted the top round of the 11 golfers that hit the par 72, 5,779-yard course as she finished with a 97. It was one stroke better than Wilkes' Alivia Behnfeldt.

The Aggies' lineup also featured Elise Dickie, who shot a 101, as well as Courtney Clauser and Katherine Dollman. Clauser shot a 111 while Dollman had a round of 118.

The Lady Colonels had Sarah Hagenbach shoot a 109 while Catherine Carney and Christy Taylor each fired rounds of 117.
