Box Score CHESTERTOWN (MD) – Washington College improved to 14-5 on the season as it swept visiting Delaware Valley College, 3-0, in a non-conference match. Set scores were 25-8, 25-22 and 25-13.
The Aggies (3-16) had a chance to even the match as they led 22-17 in the second set, thanks to 12 kills in the stanza. However, the Shorewomen rallied and scored the final eight points to take a 2-0 lead in sets and they cruised in the third for the victory. Washington racked up 40 kills, 14 aces and four blocks in the match compared to Delaware Valley's total of 25 kills, two aces and two blocks.
Alexis Jordan and Kristin Lee had nine kills apiece for the Shorewomen with Lee also adding match-highs of 14 digs and six service aces, Taylor Huran dished out 28 assists over the three sets.
For the Aggies, Maria Mameron led the way with 10 kills and two blocks.
Gina Page tallied eight kills and six digs while
Crystal Ronan racked up 23 assists to go along with 10 digs.
