TELFORD (PA) -- The Delaware Valley College women's golf team improved to 2-1 in its inaugural season as the Aggies split a tri-match on Sunday at the Indian Valley County Club. Their four-golfer score of 434 topped Arcadia University's 483 while Eastern University came away with two triumphs thanks to a score of 367.
A total of 12 golfers hit Delaware Valley's home course which is a par 72 and 5,779 yards in distance. Eastern boasted the top two rounds of the day as Kaleigh Boreman shot a 10-over-par 82 while Biance Scrimali was just three strokes behind her teammate. The Eagle's foursome was completed by Sarah Hart and Taylor Lee as they each carded a 100.
For the Aggies,
Elise Dickie was the team's top performer and was third at the tr-match thanks to a round of 93.
Rebecca Alpuche and
Courtney Clauser each shot a 110Â while
Katherine Dollman finished the fall afternoon with a 121.
Arcadia's team featured Lauren Potcher (107), Lauren Robinson (116), Kirsten Olivia (127) and Samantha Quigley (133).
Delaware Valley will travel South next Sunday to compete in the two-day, Mason Dixon Collegiate Golf Classic
