Box Score CENTER VALLEY (PA) – DeSales University registered 44 kills on the evening as the Lady Bulldogs opened Freedom Conference play with a 3-0 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College. Set scores were 25-14, 25-16 and 25-22.

The win lifted DeSales to an 8-6 mark while the Aggies fell back to .500 overall at 5-5.

The Lady Bulldogs hit double digits in kills in each set, including 17 in the third. Delaware Valley committed just 13 hitting errors (compared to 18 by DeSales), but had just 26 kills in 103 attempts for a .126 hitting percentage.

Alyssa Riggins paced the Aggies with eight kills while Gina Page added seven kills and 18 digs. The senior tandem of Janel Gluch and Destinee Horning combined for 11 kills and nine digs while Crystal Ronan distributed 26 assists.

Lauren Hess had 12 kills and two blocks for DeSales. Madeline Svrcek added nine kills and 10 blocks while Lisa Wallitsch had 35 assists and eight digs.
