Box Score LANGHORNE (PA) – The Delaware Valley College volleyball team opened the 2013 season with a 3-1 setback at Cairn University in a non-conference match. Set scores were 25-20, 25-18, 25-27 and 25-9 in favor of the Highlanders.

Destinee Horning had a strong match for the Aggies as she had 10 kills and no errors in 28 attacks. She also added 12 digs. Janel Gluch and Alyssa Riggins had 11 and eight kills respectively with Riggins adding 10 digs. Gina Page had 11 digs while Crystal Ronan dished out 33 assists.

Bridgid Shehan had 11 kills and 17 digs for Cairn.

Delaware Valley is right back in action on Saturday when it hosts Penn State Brandywine.
