Box Score 2 DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Cait Cromley knocked in the game-winning run in the first game then smacked two home runs and picked up the victory on the mound in the nightcap as Misericordia University swept a Freedom Conference doubleheader from host Delaware Valley College, 2-1 and 11-3.
The opener was tied at 1-1 heading into the seventh inning as Cromley had an RBI single in the third for the Cougars (9-5, 3-7) and 
Alexis Boucher had a run-scoring single for the Aggies (8-16, 0-8) in the fifth. Megan Gowe led off the seventh with a bunt single and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. After the second out was recorded, Cromley singled to center and Gowe scored without a throw for a 2-1 advantage. Jess Armially then retired Delaware Valley in order in the bottom of the seventh to end the game.
Armially allowed one run and four hits and improved to 4-7 on the year. Cromley was 2-for-4 with two RBIs. 
Whitney Stacey had two hits for the Aggies while 
Emily Gerhard was strong on the mound as she allowed just two runs (one earned) and seven hits while striking out four.
Cromley got the starting nod on the mound in the second game and pitched scoreless ball in the first four innings. She then came back in to pitch in the middle of the fifth and finished the game with six-plus innings of seven-hit ball while striking out seven.
The game was scoreless until the fourth when Misericordia sent 13 batters to the plate and notched nine runs on eight hits and two costly Delaware Valley errors. Cromley began the stanza with a single and later scored on an RBI single by Megan Hardy. Cromley then came up again with the bases loaded and blasted a grand slam over the center field fence.
The Aggies got three back in the bottom of the fifth as they drew five walks and 
Lauren Alvarez knocked one in with a single. Cromley led off the sixth with a solo home run and Melissa Parker did the same in the seventh for the 11-3 final.
Cromley was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and five RBIs. Kat LaBrie knocked in two with a double and finished 1-for-4.
Alvarez came off the bench to go 2-for-2 with a run batted in. Stacey allowed just three earned runs in four innings, but took the loss.
