Box Score 2 FORT MYERS (FL) – Delaware Valley College fell to 1-3 on the season following a pair of losses Tuesday afternoon in Florida. The Aggies dropped a 7-1 decision to St. Mary's College of Indiana and followed with a 10-2 setback to North Park University.
In the opener, Delaware Valley scored its lone run on a St. Mary's error in the third inning to tie the game at 1-1. However, St. Mary's followed with two runs in the fourth and put the game away with a four-run, sixth inning.
Tori Stachura paced the Aggies with two hits and a run scored.
Whitney Stacey took the loss.
Stacey and
Krystle Mazza had RBIs in the nightcap, but North Park scored three runs in the first inning, notched single runs in the next stanzas, and put five on the board in the fourth for the eight-run mercy rule. Stacey dropped the decision in game two as well.
Delaware Valley has four games remaining on its Spring Break trip.
