LANCASTER (PA) – Delaware Valley College junior
Destinee Horning notched 12 kills, 19 digs and five blocks to lead the Aggies to a 3-1, non-conference triumph over host Lancaster Bible College. Set scores were 23-25, 25-14, 25-15 and 25-18.
Delaware Valley improved to a perfect 3-0 with the victory while the Chargers remained winless at 0-4.
Lancaster Bible registered 15 kills while the Aggies committed five hitting errors in the opening set – the first that Delaware Valley dropped this year. However, the team rallied and had just five hitting miscues the rest of the way.
Horning had the big evening for the Aggies as the 2011 all-Freedom Conference honoree had the 12 kills and just two errors in 31 total attempts. Four of her blocks were solos.

Janel Gluch finished with 10 kills and two blocks while
Gina Page added 10 kills and 17 digs.
Alyssa Riggins finished the evening with seven kills and 13 digs and
Crystal Ronan contributed with 32 assists and 12 digs.
Lauren Daniels notched a match-high 16 kills while Lauren Heilger added 22 digs for Lancaster Bible.
