READING (PA) – Delaware Valley College dropped all three of its matches at the Penn State-Berks Quad Meet. The Aggies fell 3-1 to both the host school and Arcadia University with a 3-0 loss to Washington College sandwiched in-between.
Delaware Valley (5-5) took the first set, 25-21 in the Penn State Berks match, but fell 25-13, 25-13 and 25-18 in the next three.
Janel Gluch had nine kills with
Jen Keller and
Ashley Mikulsky added eight apiece.
Alyssa Riggins had 19 digs and
Amy Scordato dished out 31 assists.
Washington posted score of 25-22, 25-3 and 25-19 to take the middle match of the afternoon.
Destinee Horning led the Aggies with seven kills while Scordato had 15 assists and seven digs.
Arcadia took the final contest by set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-23 and 27-25. Gluch and Horning had 11 kills apiece with Gluch also adding five blocks. Olsen finished with eight kills and four blocks while Riggins and Horning led the defensive charge with 25 and 15 digs respectively. Scordato handed out 33 assists in the loss.
