GLENSIDE (PA) – Delaware Valley College improved to 8-8 on the season as it swept Alvernia University and Arcadia University by 3-1 scores at the Middle Atlantic Conference Crossover Tournament held at Arcadia University.

The Aggies opened the day with a 25-20, 25-17, 23-25, 25-17 victory over Alvernia (3-6). They notched 59 kills in the match, including 16 by Kaitlyn Olsen. Destinee Horning added 12 kills and 14 digs while Janel Gluch and Ashley Mikulsky had 11 and 10 kills respectively. Alyssa Riggins finished with 26 digs while Amy Scordato had 41 assists.

Delaware Valley then avenged an earlier season loss to Arcadia (6-10) by putting together a 25-18, 25-21, 21-25 and 25-17 triumph. Gluch led the way with 10 kills while Olsen added eight kills and two blocks. Scordato handed out 34 assists while Riggins led the defense with 32 digs.
