DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley College volleyball team ran its mark to 10-2 on the season as the Aggies notched a 3-0 triumph over Immaculata University and followed with a 3-1 victory over Lancaster Bible College.
Delaware Valley had no trouble with the Mighty Macs of Immaculata as game scores were 25-15, 25-22 and 25-14.
Kaitlyn Olsen notched 12 kills and eight blocks while
Jaki Blood and
Ashley Mikulsky had five kills and 10 digs apiece. Blood also finished with 11 assists as did
Amy Scordato.
After Lancaster Bible edged Immaculata, 3-2, in the middle match of the afternoon, the Chargers took the court against the Aggies and took the first game by a 25-23 score. However, Delaware Valley battled back to take the next three by scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 25-21. Olsen finished a strong day by recording 14 kills. Mikulsky had 14 kills and 25 digs while
Amy Estep and
Kelsey Fisher added seven kills apiece. Scordato dished out 37 assists.
