AGGIES DOWN GWYNEDD-MERCY, IMPROVE TO 8-2

DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley College won for the fifth time in its last six matches as the Aggies cruised to a 3-0 victory over visiting Gwynedd-Mercy College in non-conference action. Game scores were 25-8, 25-11 and 25-16.

Delaware Valley improved its overall record to 8-2 on the season and the squad will next host Immaculata University and Lancaster Bible College for a tri-match on Saturday, September 19. The Griffins fell to 1-10 with Thursday's loss.

All 11 players that dressed for the match saw playing time for the Aggies. Danielle Ford led the way with six kills while Kaitlyn Olsen had five kills and three solo blocks. Ashley Mikulsky notched four kills and a match-high 15 digs while Emily Robillard reached double digits with 10 digs. Jaki Blook and Amy Scordato teamed for 17 assists and six digs.

Nicole Burke had four kills for Gwynedd-Mercy while Kristen Gambone added 10 assists and nine digs.
