PURCHASE (NY) – Delaware Valley College picked up its first Freedom Conference victory of the year as the Aggies went on the road and downed Manhattanville College, 3-1. Set scores were 25-23, 25-22, 19-25 and 25-15.
The win improved Delaware Valley to 13-11 overall and 1-6 in conference action. With two matches remaining, the Aggies have assured themselves of at least a .500 record for the second time in the last three years. The Valiants fell to 6-20 overall and 1-7 in the Freedom.
Kaitlyn Olsen notched a team-high 10 kills while Kelsey Fisher and Ashley Mikulsky added eight kills apiece. Mikulsky also finished the evening with 12 digs. Amy Estep tallied four service aces and 21 digs while Kate Klish led the defensive effort with 30 digs. Brittany Marconi and Amy Scordato combined for 34 assists.
Fiona Molloy had a match-high 11 kills while Maggie Black added eight kills for Manhattanville.
