The Game
The Delaware Valley University football team (0-1, 0-0 MAC) is home for the second straight week as it opens its 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference slate against King's College (0-1, 0-0 MAC) on Saturday, Sept. 13. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Robert A. Lipinski Field.
Over the last ten meetings, the Aggies hold a 9-1 advantage. The lone loss came last fall in Wilkes-Barre, a 14-6 setback. The series began in 1993, when the Monarchs launched their football program; DelVal won that inaugural contest, 55-31, on the road.

Storylines and Notes
- Both DelVal and King's received preseason votes in the D3football.com Top 25, but each dropped out following week one losses.
- DelVal looks to reclaim the top spot in the MAC after King's captured its second — and first outright — conference championship last fall, ending the Aggies' streak of six straight titles.
- Both offenses aim to establish the ground game. King's was held to just 30 rushing yards on 25 attempts in week one, while DelVal totaled 61 yards on 29 carries.
- Transfer QB Mike Galasso showed promise in the passing attack for the Aggies, throwing for 209 yards with one interception. WR Cory Gordon led all receivers with 113 yards on two catches, including a 74-yard touchdown strike.
- For King's, Jaelin Mims paced the passing game with 241 yards and two touchdowns but also committed two turnovers. This week's starter, Joey Rehberg, finished 7-for-14 for 50 yards with an interception against Wilkes.
- Receivers Jayon Hailey and Devin Duana each caught a touchdown last week. Hailey led the team with five receptions and 95 yards.
- LB Jeremiah Clark anchored the DelVal defense with a MAC-best 15 total tackles, including five solo stops. Clark, Michael Foley, and Thomas Arcaroli each recorded a tackle for loss. LB Micah Bootman forced and recovered a fumble inside the red zone to halt a Hampden-Sydney drive.
- Defensively, King's was led by Matt Blakemore, James Rush, and Michael Richino, who each tallied 10 tackles. Richino also added two sacks for a loss of 10 yards. Safety James Mangine recorded an interception, while DB Nathan Taylor recovered a fumble.
