MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Joel Perez was named a D3football.com First Team All-American as a return specialist following a standout first season with the Aggies.
Earlier this year, Perez earned All-MAC First Team Return Specialist honors after leading the conference in both kick return average (31.5 yards) and punt return average (18.8 yards). He was the only player in the MAC with multiple return touchdowns, taking three to the house on the season.
Two of those scores came on kickoff returns of 95 and 96 yards in the Aggies' Homecoming win over Stevenson, setting new program records. The first-year standout consistently flipped field position for Delaware Valley and emerged as one of the most dangerous returners in Division III football this season.
